 HELLO AM CREW QUESTION I HAVE A RANGER (FULL & EXPANDED TIM TRON MODS). THE OUT BOARD AUDIO IS A (APHEX 230) TUBE VOICE PROCESSOR( 12AT7 TUBE) WOULD THE AUDIO SOUND TUBIE IF I USE A TUBE MIC {MAJAVE MA-200}

Uhm.  Sound "tube"?  Well your speech amp (which you might be bypassing), modulator and finals are all tube. 


I think this would be much better asked on the air while using the equipment.  Cool

Sounds like too many layers of icing on a one-layer cake. Cheesy  Put the $$ in the antenna or the receiver.

Nobody's gonna hear the subtle difference on any HF band, given the noise, QRM, and substandard distortion performance of the AM detectors in most ham receivers.

I agree...I jumped the gun in my reply. I thought you were purchasing a modded Ranger with the accessories. You wanna add a Tube Mic...........doh doh doh
