Just a tip that I found that I thought I would pass on. If you have any of the Half Price Books stores in your area they usually have a section for radio books. Occasionally you can find a real treasure there for just a few bucks. I have been able to pick up old ARRL Handbooks for about $2. The price seems to vary a little from one store to the next. A while back I was able to find the Shortwave Receivers, Past & Present, Second Edition, by Fred Osterman for $5 at my local store. There seems to be an abundance of older tube type (40's, 50's) theory type text books. Electronics servicing for older tube type equipment. Browse around and be sure and check out the clearance section.
Hope you find something.
