Use an "AM Courtesy Filter" to limit transmit audio bandwidth  +-4.5 KHz, +-6.0 KHz or +-8.0 KHz when needed.  Easily done in DSP.

Jack - are you sure that's Tim in that 1968 photo?  Looks more like "Chip" from the old "My Three Sons" sitcom!!! Tongue  I think the actor who played him was named Barry Livingston.

Oh, yeh, that's Tim.  I took the picture.  The picture was taken at Tim's house in Rockport.

Remember the time Tim was punching a hole through a concrete wall and broadcasted across 75. Ping....ping sounded like sonar

BTW. XYL has a cousin who is a dead ringer for young Dean KNX they could pass for brothers.
