I was chatting with Tom K3MRG and he directed me to an outstanding article covering driven arrays.

Interesting, Brent -

That system is exactly what G/INR is doing on 75M with the exception of the last piece of double matching coax to go from 25 to 50 ohms.

I like the suggestion of making the elements 1.4% shorter to compenmsate for mutual coupling. Never saw that suggestion before.

This is a great system which is all driven - perfect if it is going to be less than 3/8 wave above ground for a given band.

Use an "AM Courtesy Filter" to limit transmit audio bandwidth  +-4.5 KHz, +-6.0 KHz or +-8.0 KHz when needed.  Easily done in DSP.
