Hi All..boy it has been ages since I reported any activity here..way too long..but I got an e-mail from John G3YPZ telling me of possible openings..sooo I decided to take a looksee..earlier at say 1300 UTC ystdy there was very little going on but later at approx 1900 UTC on 21.420 AM was Howarth GW3TMP at 20 over yakking with Tom W0TDH..I only had 15mins to chat but Howarth's signal never went below S9..he was running a Ranger with an AR88 rcvr..so it cud be just a one time thing but chances are it might be the "start" of another AM adventure !..
BTW I also received an e-mail earlier last week from Tom saying openings starting to happen on 10mtrs as well..time to start listening and CQing !!  73 de DAVE WB1EAD

Thanks for the report Dave.   Out here in the West, I've been working europe and africa on 15M in the afternoon-early evening.  10 has been open mornings to S America .   No really strong sigs but very workable.   Steve

Hey gang..just finished up a FB QSO with John G3YPZ..heard his CQ at just after noon(1600UTC) here on 21.420..tuff to copy at 1st because someone else was there too on SSB..oh horrors !!..anyhoo we moved up to 430 and carried on..great to hear him after a long time..he's been busy getting his DX-100U up & going..should be ready by next week he said..his signals were most definite Q5 from the K3..gud modulation and reaching as high as 20 over on my rig..a slow steady QSB overall..I did give a listen on 10mtrs and heard Aldo IW5EKR at 10 over there but decided to try 15mtrs instead..at this time as I type it IS WIDE open and more or less the same on 10mtrs...happy hunting !  gud luk  73 de DAVE WB1EAD
