W1GFH already posted the sad news. Here is additional info.
There will be a wake (no viewing) Tues. Aug.15th from 4-8 pm at Farmer & Dee on Lee St. in Tewksbury. Funeral mass will be the following day, Wed. Aug. 16th at 11:30 a.m. at St. William's church on Main St./Rt. 38.

I'll leave you with this picture of John from happier days, with some unidentified lid, at the QTH of WN1JUW.
