IN A TRIODE NO ONE CAN HEAR YOUR SCREEN

Anyone make an animal like this for HF with low loss?

I have an amplified loop with a 75-Ohm output, and would like to feed it into one of my vintage Super-Pro 200's.

I really wouldn't worry about a 1.3 mis-match but a 8 turn primary and 10 turn secondary on a 50-2 core should work just fine.

8:10 turns PRI to SEC, turns ratio of 1.25, but wouldn't the Z ratio would be that squared, or 1.5625 giving 117 Ohms.

For  a Z ratio of 1.25, turns ratio might more closely be the SQRT if it, or 1.12.
How about 10:12 - 10 turns primary and 12 turns secondary?

Check me if this is correct math.

You're probably closer Pat but with the broadbandedness(?) of that core I don't think it's worth haggeling!  Grin
