I know I am no longer active either on the air or here, but I wanted to let everyone here know that my mom passed away May 7th, the day before Mother's Day. It was very unexpected and mercifully quick. KB3AHE, WB3HUZ, WA3VJB, their wives, and a few others met her in person over the years and I wanted to let them know she is gone. The funeral was yesterday in her home town of Accident MD. She wanted a private funeral so her wishes were honored.

Derb,
Sorry to hear of your mothers passing.  A person's best friend is usually their mother.  Wish you the best to you and your family.

Sorry, Derb.

We often forget that we don't have them forever.  Love them now.

Condolences from my wife and I. After meating your mother on many occasions and talking to her on the phone many times I was quite fond of her. She was always warm and friendly, and a hard person not to like.
I am very sorry to hear of her passing. Thank God that it came quickly and without a long period of suffering. My mom is housebound now at 84 and All that I can do is watch her deteriorate, this is tough to do!! Many condolences and best wishes,

Sorry to hear about your Mom Derb. I lost mine 30 years ago, long and slow in the dark ages of the big C.

My condolences to you and your family, Derb.  Your mom will be sorely missed, I'm certain.  But, she is in a better place now, and free from her earthly suffering.

She will greet us when we're all called Home.  Amen.

So sorry to hear, Derb.

I remember meeting her back in '97? at your old house. She
seemed a very friendly and thoughtful mother.

Our thoughts are with you in your time of loss, OM.
