Title: Death Post by: N3DRB The Derb on May 13, 2005, 07:10:45 PM I know I am no longer active either on the air or here, but I wanted to let everyone here know that my mom passed away May 7th, the day before Mother's Day. It was very unexpected and mercifully quick. KB3AHE, WB3HUZ, WA3VJB, their wives, and a few others met her in person over the years and I wanted to let them know she is gone. The funeral was yesterday in her home town of Accident MD. She wanted a private funeral so her wishes were honored.

After meating your mother on many occasions and talking to her on the phone many times I was quite fond of her. She was always warm and friendly, and a hard person not to like.
I am very sorry to hear of her passing. Thank God that it came quickly and without a long period of suffering. My mom is housebound now at 84 and All that I can do is watch her deteriorate, this is tough to do!!
