Hello friends
Let's try this again. My search for info about this is getting me no where and I posted here in QSO and it disappeared.
Please.....what would be the length of a dipole at 1.8mhz for 3./8 wave?
Google is useless and I am having trouble climbing steps to get to my antenna books in the shack.

Thanks
God bless

Half-wave dipole by 468/f Mc = 260 feet.  3/8 wavelength is 3/4 of 1/2 wave length, so should be 195 feet.  Unless I have forgotten something, which happens now and them these days.

Since 1958. There still is nothing like tubes to keep your coffee warm in the shack.

THANK YOU
That seems to a number floating in the clouds I remember from about 12 yrs ago.
Good buddy Steve K4HX recommended a 3/8 wave to minimize some affects of using a dipole many ham bands. So I plugged in 1.8 mhz as my lowest freq that I would use on this dipole, which is fed by OWL.
That 3/8 length may make it a little easier for a good tuner to navigate through the QSY's.
Thanks very much for your reply
