Hello all

I have been trying to find some info on Tech Rad Transmitters. I know they were made for the Navy, but I can't seem to find any web sites on a Google search. I Know Ozono Bob had one of their transmitters.  Any Ideas?

Thanks

Contact K5LYN.  He had one for several years and has knowledge of the subject.

If that's the manufacturer I'm thinking of, info is scarce. I had one of their transmitters w/matching supply, manual, and cabling for years. Ended up trading it to a friend. All I could ever track down was that this particular model was used in naval shore gun installations around forts, harbors, and such. Pretty obscure in itself.

Thanks for the reply Todd:
I found the info I was looking for. It's the Tech Rad T 350 XM  Transmitter with a pair of 813's modulated by a pair of 805s.
Big iron beast at 600 +lbs.

Thanks

"Technical Radio Company T-350 XM AM/CW Transmitter"
(Pair of 813's modulated by a pair of 805's; 2-20Mhz; circa 1945)

I couldn't find it until I realized the brand name fully. What a beautiful transmitter!
