I caught Henk on 21.430 today at 1500 zulu with a workable signal into the northeast. He was running between S-2 to S-7 but was fairly easy copy most of the time while running 8 watts into a longwire. A few minutes later I caught Aldo IW5EKR running 40 watts on the same frequency. It looks like the band is beginning to recover after a week of interesting solar activity.

Thanks Rob!
First I listen to Ten, Chuck K1KW were VERY strong in qso with UK stations.
I heard only him.... no others from the USA.
So I did listen to 15 meters if I can hear more stations from the USA.
And Yes! I heard Rob W1AEX calling on 21.430 with a good signal.
After his call, I tried...and yes we had a nice qso in AM.
Rob's signal going by me between S2 to S7 1/2 but no word I missed!!
A pity at the end of our qso his signal were going a little down....

Hi, hi... while I listen to my recording.... I heard a station calling on 21.430.
I tried.... and he heard me, he = Aldo IW5EKR mobile in Italia.
His signal going between S1 to S8.
But later his signal were complete away... I could not hear him anymore.
Again later I heard Rob talking with Aldo!

I running on 15 mtrs: 8 Watt naked, with audio Ten into a wire +/- 25 mtrs long! Grin

Rob thanks for the nice qso (and recording),

It was great to work you again Henk. Conditions seem to be improving from moment to moment. I'm chatting now with Dan - W7NGA on his Flex 6300 and he is S-9+ right now at 1600 zulu. Dan has really got the Flex sounding beautiful. Let's hope conditions continue to improve!

Rob!
Thanks.... evenso I were happy to talk with you with such low power... Cheesy
After your qso with Aldo I heard again 2 stations on 21.430.
But I am not sure if it were you and ?
Because the conditions 'were less'....

geez ... I actually finished half my sentences after waking up at 3:00am, doing the dishes, and heading for the shack. I just couldn't fall back asleep.
I could not hear Henk but did see a blip just above the noise on the panadapter, which is amazing for 8 watts from the Netherlands.
