Clark and I chatted for around 30 minutes on 21.430 with signals running at around S-9 today at 1930z. The band was quite good with big signals evident on the panadapter down in the lower regions of the SSB section. During the video at the link below you can see and hear Clark's Ranger driving one of his Johnson Thunderbolts as it was heard today in Connecticut. You can also see an interesting little parasitic from someone's amplifier as it rolled up and down through Clark's signal now and then. The screenshot below catches it at about 21.445 just as it was about to slide down through Clark's signal. The wandering parasitic phenomenon is something that I see frequently on the upper bands.
