I am never at a loss to invent something out of nothing. The more nothings i have laying about
just means i will have plenty of winter projects. Not sure where the RC car came from. Perhaps
it was a flea market item or belonged to one of the grandkids. Needless to say it makes a better
straight key than it did an RC Car.

Fantastic!!  I just think its great when one takes something for a particular purpose and turns it into something completely different.  Very unique and sharp looking!

Very nice. Has a certain industrial or Sci-Fi/Robocop look to it.

That would make for an interesting winter project: a Rube Goldberg or Junkbox CW Key contest. Just the thing to break up the cabin fever along about February.

It's actually the only straight key i use anymore. I did drill small holes in the cylinders
so it's actually usable. The strut ends are like most RC control horns.
So the ends will screw out and in to adjust the weight needed. The mounting
for the arm is the nylon nose gear mount from an old rc plane.
