It's alive. IT'S ALIVE!!!

I am astounded and pleased at the generosity and kindness shown to me by the AM community. I've been active in ham radio since 1979 (I was the tender age of 16), and I've never encountered such a fine group of folks. One of the members here sent me some old books and odds and ends without being asked.

This hobby, and any other hobby for that matter, is all about fun. I enjoy meeting and talking with similiarly-minded people. At least in this group some will appreciate my desert-like sense of humor.
