P,

If you ever want snow pictures, just ASK. We always keep some snow on hand.

Enjoying a non-snowfall on Christmas, white Christmas.

Keep it.

Someone sent it up our way.

Right on the edge of it at the moment. Freezing rain as I drove into DC, now sloppy "wintry mix" (which sounds like a flavor of chewing gum).

Define "joy".

Down here in South Texas, we don't do the 'S' word...

Christmas was very quiet and I spent most of it rebuilding a Clipperton L for a customer/friend.

Now before the comments start....

We are celebrating this coming Sunday since #1 son and family will be home from Florida after visting with his wifes family.

#2 son, a USAF major,  will be flying in from Germany on Friday eve, stay 10 days and then off to Ft Belvoir VA for some specialized DOD training, then to Kiev for some more embedded Russian language training, then to Moscow for some more work and then finally to Tblisi Georgia for a few years embassy duty as a defense attache specializing in threat reduction and training our allies in the region. He recently returned from 6 months in Djibouti training with the Seals and Special Forces along with African allies. Needless to say we are all very proud of him and he is very excited about this new posting.

#3 son who still lives here has been playing the resident domestic, cleaning the house, getting decorations in place and leaving me to play with radios.

So a belated Merry Christmas to all.

I doubt anyone has a reason to comment negatively on others' holiday arrangements or timing. Hope you have a good Christmas when you have it.

A good Christmas here, enjoying the post-holiday quiet after all of the pre-Christmas runarounds.  Got a nice present from son Dave - a copy of Clinton B. Desoto's 200 Meters and Down.  At the other end of the time/space continuum, Santa brought him a Raspberry Pi microcomputer and some peripherals to play with.  Challenged him to get an SDR going with it.
