  Came upon some fellows looking into a rather large homebrew transmitter, rack mounted of course, at the Dayton Hamvention flea market Friday afternoon. I made some crack remark "only an AM'er could appreciate something like this"! Came to find that they were all AM'ers from 'down south'. One was Dr.John, KN4ME, from Florence Alabama with whom I had a nice QSO with the first week of May. Sure is great to meet folks we talk with on the air. Was the high point of my Dayton excursion this time around...
