  Hi,

          Got a 610-I here for  checkout and intial "Flame Up".
Made by B&W say's the tag. Looks good and was allegedly
in use. Has 250 TL in the PA. Can you do that?  TIA

Ther 250 TL and the 250 TH have different bias requirements.....The 250th was the standard final in the BC-610 if I remember correctly...

The low-mU "TL" will work OK, but carefully watch the plate current if drive is lost.

  hey Dennis and Steve,

    Thanks, I figured it would work, the low MU thing explains the
nice new 807 IPA's in this thing!  it came with the VFO, Manly
device indeed.

You might need to change the grid leak resistor for the TL.  The grid drive with the new resistor will be lower and the bias will be higher.  The TL will need more protective bias voltage than the TH. Check the tube charts.  With the appropriate adjustments, the TL should work just as well as the TH.
