This has been posted here in the past, but a reminder for newcomers or those with memory fade:
Pete Millett's excellent website
http://www.tubebooks.orgIt has scans of many tube and component manuals/catalogs from the top manufacturers and also has complete scans of many textbooks on audio and Rf using vacuum tubes (a little on transistors too).
http://www.tubebooks.org/technical_books_online.htmSometimes we have a question like "how do i select a swinging choke?".
Norman Crowhurst/George Coopers 1957 High-Fidelity Circuit Design spells it out very thoroughly. It dispels myths about cathode follower circuits.
There is a dandy 100 Watt quad-EL34 amplifier design in the PA chapter.
Another classic which I read and read again is Inside the Vacuum Tube, by John Rider, 1945. A good technical library would be hard-pressed to have all of this information in print, and here it can be had for the cost of internet download time. Wonderful stuff is out there!
