Daylight shifting time.

I think the AMTR should be at least 4 times a year (one each season). I like to hear Don P & M. Isn't it time for QEX/QST  Huh

The hell with this "window" crap (IT'S BEEN BROKEN FOR YEARS)
and combining the events business!

Lets keep the two events (Corntests?) running separately so Don
Chester can P&M in his usual style about the weekend QRM on the
bands and I have a better chance to widen my score to making a
clean sweep  on the AMTR again this coming season.

It was fun getting back in the contest mode last year and I'm looking
forward to this years session.

Steve, have you made any upgrades to the logging software?

Ralph,

I hope to hear you on the AMTR Ralph. I hear a sale is going on to purchase former "window xtals".  3.875, 3.880 and 3.885 at bargain basement prices for those that intend to operate in that part of the band during the contest.

Hope to see you at Shady Maple to discuss this further.

I didnt get a chance to participate in the 2011 AM Transmitter Rally .I know there was discussion about combining the Heavy Metal Rally and the AM Transmitter Rally. I am looking forward to a weekend of AM. Of course with a comment from the 2010 AM Transmitter Rally about being a "ESTROGEN CHANNEL MAN" I am not sure if monopolizing 3885 is a good idea anymore.  Roll Eyes

It's combined with the Classic Exchange instead, Ralph. I recall some guys P&Ming about it at the Raleigh 'fest last April and have a feeling they might've moved to the following weekend to avoid it. Little did they know Steve would follow them!   Wink

I'd forgotten that Rob wanted to organize it this year.   Grin

Okay, Todd...  I do expect to participate whatever weekend the thing
falls on if the station here is working...

So far I haven't looked closely at the new version logging program.   Have
to download the very latest one and see if my PDF will accept the programs
built-in help file.

Perhaps this afternoon after I get my old Chebby Impeller unstuck from the
ice in the drive way...

All right you guys  Smiley  The proposed date of the 11th for the AMTR was posted here in plain view on Jan 13th in this forum.  If there were any suggestions as to a change of, or objection to the date that would definitely have been the time to make it known  Wink Cool

It's going to work out just fine!  If, in the future, the C/X would like to have the AMTR on another weekend, we could do that.  The object was to enhance the C/X by having a lot of AMers already on for that weekend.  Hey, can't shoot a fellow for trying  to help   Smiley

Go for it Stephanie! They'll get over it this year just like they did in 2010.

What AM window?

The AM window faces the east to catch the sunrise in the AM!  Cool

I think the PM window affords the best view.  Sunsets work for me. I don't do Sunrises.   Grin

Don't worry about it    Smiley  I know the guy who wrote that comment, and he was DEFINITELY making a joke, and is a really great guy and made a lot of other jokes about other folks as well.

I have found the best way to make a lot of contacts is to stay on a frequency and just work everyone who shows up.  You and Kerry KC2UFU made sort of a tag team, and it was pretty interesting to take in.

And, you've got that contesting veteran Ralph to keep an eye on  Grin Grin

Hi Stephanie nice signal up here in NH.  Wonder if you worked Kerri yet?  Kerri was punching a really great signal last night but didn't get a chance. Maybe today
