Yes on this day in 1941 I was born in a house in Elysburg, PA.

When I turned six, I chopped down a cherry tree and the rest is history Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin

I never thought I would see this day and in fact, I didn't think I would make it to age 50. Now I have to catch up to some of the old timers on here and see if I can make it to 93.

I think I'll buy a fine bottle of Scotch tomorrow and celebrate.

Don't worry about me getting drunk on the air, My transmitters are 125 miles from here Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

I don't celebrate my birthday any more.  By the time you reach our age, that's the  day you wear a black arm band.

Hey Terry, maybe you can go here to celebrate. Since it is near where you were born. Plus I live right up the road from where you lived Grin

Good for you, Terry!

It really is too bad your transmitters are so far away. We could have a fine on air party... no worries about it!

Happy BD, Pal!

Welcome to the 70 Club!  Smiley

I think a day at Knoebels, a couple of rides on the Phoenix, topped by one of their big banana splits is in order!  Wink

I've been reading that 70 is supposed to be the new 40.  Happy 70(40) Terry!

Happy B-Day Terry and have one for me!  Make sure it's the good stuff--not the alcohol that gets you -- it's all those impurities!

Hey KID, I beat you there on October 17, 1939 in Buffoon-a-lo, NY.  Yes, apparently 70 is the new 40, though I know I was in better shape when I was 40.  Anyhow, enjoy it, Kiddo, and that bottle of Scotch too!
