Elysburg? The home of Knoebels? Let's get together there with 'SLK and the rest of the gang. The bad part...as a single guy who likes his own cooking too much, I'm too fat to fit on the really good rides.   Sad

Happy birthday!

Yes getting together with SLK,WWL, AMI and others would be fun! I'm trying to get down that way this summer. Up until a few years ago, we had a family reunion at Knobels every June but it dwindled down to no shows and was cancelled. I think the Bloomsburg fair is in late September. I may make it down for that since I haven't been to it in about 50 years. They used to have a ham radio set up there when I was a kid. There may still be a ham fest there early June?

Well, long story short, maybe that is when I'll get down that way.

I haven't seen a ham radio setup at the Bloomsburg Fair during the last couple of times that I went there. But you are certainly welcome to be a guest operator at the Cottage of Wattage...the same goes for 'SLK, 'WWL, and the rest of the gang. Be advised, however, that I have more cats than Carter had liver pills...feel free to take some home with you!

The Bloomsburg Hamfest was on Saturday, June 11. My club, the Murgas Amateur Radio Club (K3YTL, Wilkes-Barre) will have its hamfest on Sunday, July 2 at the Luzerne County Fairgrounds, Route 118 in Lehman. Talk-in is on 146.01/146.61, CTCSS 82.3.

Congrats Terry!  I beat you by a bit over 6 months.

Reaching 70 means you are a true old fart and can be forgiven for being grumpy and making rambling posts Roll Eyes

I was at the fest at Lime Ridge. Pretty minute compaired to the days at the Bloomsburg Fairgrounds. I am planning on attending the great Burpgas fest this year. Do yourself a favor and drop the CTCSS tones.

Congrats Terry!!

I keep on counting them.  I've cheated the old 3 score and 10 by 4+ years.  Feel great and ready for a second round
