sold - Ling TP-850 amplifiers

Ling/LTV 850 watt shaker table amps. The rating is conservative on them.

It is a beast. A green color, like Altec green bit a little lighter. Might be good for a subwoofer system @1 Ohm or more, a bipolar servo DC supply, or as a modulator for a decent size TX.

An impressive feature is a crowbar protection that dumps the power supply and trips the front panel breaker. This has several inputs from various locations in the amp, and the circuit of the amp is simple enough to put in place other less annoying means of protection against clipping or overcurrent. It is mainly there to protect the shaker table 'voice coils' because harmonics from clipping would damage them.

All major assemblies unplug and come out for repair.

condition:
not working, repairable. IIRC 4 pcs that were complete enough to test, +1 for parts. One may be missing the sheet aluminum covers. Just sheet, so this is not an issue to replace. They are sitting in a rack and I have to make space. I am keeping the rack.
