Got out of work a while ago and finally got to go through the site in detail.

This gets an "awesome" rating from the ZGC Institute of Microphonics & Forensic Theology.

I learnt a lot of stuff about my Dorrough loudness meters. What a tool they can be!!

The Dorrough 40-B are some kind of loudness + modulation meter and are sought after but almost never show up on eBay.

Rob, I musta lucked out with epay.
That's where I got my stereo Dorrough meters. Fantastic stuff!! It will show out of phase audio also. They were $400.00 And didnt' work......The little P.S. module inside got jarred loose from the PCB in one channel.
Great idea but pretty cheap materials used.
They look impressive!!! Saw them too many times on CNN

Rob
Just typed Dorrough in a search box on eBay and there's a number of units available. Single, Stereo. Many choice$

These still command a high resale.

Or you could call Mike and ask him for a price on one.  Or send him email.  He is on the Wed night 3870 net just about every week.  K06NM

Is that a Grey Tone arm? They look like they would ruin a record but were surprisingly gentle to the record surface
