Hi guys .I have a HDR300 rotor that the bracket that mounts to the shaft is frozen on and can't  be moved..I was wondering if anyone had any tips on removing it.........Thanks Mike KA1CU

Had the same thing on an HDR 400 one time.  I had to get a large mechanical puller to remove it.  When it came time to reinstall, it took a bit of work with a file.  Use PB Blaster on it for a good week before you try the puller so maybe you won't break the plate.

There is supposed to be an extra plate that sits under the clamps  over the main plate that should shield the shaft and jaws from water causing it to run off the side of the plate.  If you don't have one, make it out of some sort of easily workable metal.
