When it came time to reinstall, it took a bit of work with a file. Use PB Blaster on it for a good week before you try the puller so maybe you won't break the plate. There is supposed to be an extra plate that sits under the clamps over the main plate that should shield the shaft and jaws from water causing it to run off the side of the plate. If you don't have one, make it out of some sort of easily workable metal. |
