Tonight is the CCA's First Wednesday AM night, fully announced in another section here.

The kickoff tonight with is with Roger, K5VRX just south of Washington DC.

I offered to help (I am a former anchor of the CCA event) with relays or logging tonight but he sounds like he's set pretty well, having co-anchored with others in the recent  past.

He will be running a Collins 32V3, a 75A4, and an inverted Vee at 90 feet.

The band went long by the time the East Coast round got going, and the anchor station 20 miles from me was completely inaudible !

I waited until a more distant time zone and a different set of anchors took the gathering, and had a good time hearing and working:

WØNKL Jim at Ft. Scott Kansas
WØEFJ Brian (at the EF Johnson club station)
KC3OL Ted in Kansas

K9KEU John at Williams Bay Wisconsin on a 30K1

w9DWF
Dan  LaPorte Ind on a 30K

WØFD Mike at Gunniston Colo on a Desk

W9AD Dave Barrington Hills Illinois

W8BAC Mike at Detroit

Because propagation was long, the group also took relays from East Coast stations, myself and Steve WA1QIX to help move things along.
