This one ran two 810s with HK54s.  Any idea of ratings?  Any idea what all 11 taps are?

Thanks as always!

Clark

Hi Clark,

I do NOT know anything about this transformer,  but Peerless had a very good rep ... I've not Googled "Peerless",  but have read somewhere that they were a part of Altec or associated with Altec.

Have you Googled Peerless #######" ??  Often you can find some info this way.  Also there have been threads here regarding measuring Mod Transrormers.

EDT: - Just Googled   "Peerless modulation transformer"  The first hit had the fllg:

PEERLESS TRANSFORMER CATALOG AL-1285-1

PEERLESS TRANSFORMER CATALOG 1953

Am off the the remote site,  and you may have already Googled around,  but,  if not,  Google is your friend -

73,  and  UR GK sounds great here,  hope that you get the bigger rig going soon.  GL  Vic

Thanks Vic!    I did some more work on the GK and I got it runnig correctly with the D104 now Smiley  The 6sj7 was causing me lots of trouble!

I did a search but could not find much info it. I will try again. I was mainly searching for this part number.

It's not in my catalogs.

In googling around I found a Chinese site with one of these transformers for sale.

It said it was a 300 watt unit. No other specs.

You should be able to tell by the weight. I think a 300 Watt modulation transformer should weigh somewhere around 30-35 lbs.

I think this one is more like 500 to 600 watts.  Its 60 lbs.  Also. It ran 810s.  So that would point to the need of 500 to 650 watts.  I will have to measure all the taps to figure it out. Should not be that hard.  Thanks alot for your time and effort!
