Looking forward to it, Slab. Last year was my first visit, and it was a blast! Got to meet a number of the AM community known from the airwaves for many years. The food was FAB, as was the antique engine collection and associated demos. Even got to pick up a receiver there from Buddly and some caps from Ralph. Still amazed at how many radios you have squeezed into your basement.

Count me in.

I will be there. Wouldn't miss this gig unless I absolutely have to. For those that haven't been yet, I highly recommend it. Frank and Carol put on an absolutely awesome spread and are wonderful hosts. Further, you get to have some good eyeball QSOs with AMers from most of the northeast and often points beyond. OK, maybe eyeball QSO part is a drawback, but the food more than makes up for it.  Wink

Count me in Frank. I'm also going to be bringing the harmonic and the XYL. You won't need any Garmin or Tom-Tom to find Frank's place, just follow the garlic Wink

I would not miss this happening for anything, bar hurricanes, major snow storms, and volcano events.  I plan to attend.

Speaking of which;

                       Come one,
                        Come all,
                             to
The Great Nottingham Volcano & Earthquake Event.

jes Google..    "Franks Back Yard."

I'm gonna be fresh on the scene, hopefully in a bit better shape than I was last year. May skip ham fester and just go to party instead.

Just cleared it with the XYL (Barb, N2ZKA).  Put us down for 2.

Let me know if there is anything we can bring.

Hi Frank,

Glad to hear that you will be hosting the party again this year!

Please put me and Joe, WA2PJP down as attendees. We would not miss this for anything!

We both look forward to seeing you and Carol!

Thanks & Best 73,

Bruce, W2XR

Just cleared it with the XYL (Barb, N2ZKA).

Although we do not observe "political correctness" on this site, if she is a licensed ham, she is a YL, not an XYL.  (Wish mine was interested in ham radio and licensed too, good buddy!)

By the way, if I was not already committed to a Caribbean vacation that week with my XYL, I would drive up for the party.  Maybe next year.....

Frank, I'll be there, and maybe the XYL too. Let me know what to bring. Perhaps some "DePalma's" tomato pies from Philly?

BTW, I'll be skipping the 'Fester and will be coming straight to the Pharty.

Looking forward to seeing you,Carol, and everyone!

Just FWIW mine is also a lisenced ham and NEVER BEEN ON SLOPBUCKET!! And has no intentions to do so! Her call also has some interesting phoenetics possibilities.
