The opposite of "alligator" and synonym for "PW", a "rabbit".    Big ears, good receiver, hears everything but no power and can't be heard by anyone.   Use first on 2M FM for underpowered repeaters.

Around here those are called "elephants", again for their big ears.

A few more Tronisms:

RADIO BARNACLE - A station, usually low power, that slows down the roundtable with comments of little value or interest to the group.

OLD BUZZARD HYRAM - 110 year old husband of the "good wife Mabel", who makes occasional appearances on 75 meters to play "ole time" music. An early appearance of Old Buzzard Hyram can be found here -->> http://amfone.net/index.php?ind=media&op=file_view&iden=129
