FYI:  from DX Summit ..

N6CCH     14315.0 LU2ZD       Antartic DX Net QSL via LU4DXU2206 29 Jan (edit -- did not know about an antarctic Net)

LW6DC     14315.0 LU2ZD       Antartica- Primavera Base.-   2236 29 Jan

I dunno about E. Coast prop now,  but keep an eye on the spots ... 20 M and 30 M are probably best bet near UR Sunset  I would bet.  73  GL  Vic  K6IC

Just to beat this thread to death ...

From DX Summit:

RK3BL-@   10103.1 R1AND       Antarctica                    1926 31 Jan

Was spotted by a Russian station,  but does show that this Antarctic station is active today on 30 M (CW) ... You may not have 30 M,  or like CW,  and realize that you were looking perhaps for a schedule,   but here is this spot.

Being that this is the Summer down there,  there are many Antarctic stations active this time of year ... looking at the spots on DX Summit site should easily allow you to snag a Q.

KC4AAA has been fairly active ... seems that when they are on (usually 20 SSB)  that they are on particular frequency  for hours.  73  GL  and think that this is about my last spot FWIW.      Vic    K6IC

Just to continue the hores-beating ...

This week is Antarctic Activity Week may want to tune the bands ... 20 M,  30,  and 40 Meters are good bets.  CW is the most common mode used on 30 M (of course) and 40 M.  75 & 80 M may be tough ...  YMMV

CW is just a narrower version of AM

Did find Wally,  R1AND on the low end of 40 CW last eve ... around sunset Pacific time.
Not a bone-crushing signal,  but easily workable for a "hello--goodbye"  QSO ... still a kick to work the bottom of the globe.

Good week to find 'em on the bands.    Vic

You caught me a beatin'

I do not: grammar,  spehl,  thipe, see or look gud.

And BTW that EM1HO on 75 is a great contact,   a fair distance.  Never worked them on 75.

Hi Vic. Couldn't pass that one up. Smiley

The EM1HO caught me by surprise. Right place at the right time. Lucky really.

Catch you on the waves!
