Brent & I are taking the "Brent & Keith Show" on the road. Over the winter there were several offers of "AM STUFF" made by gracious three landers and we are planning a snatch, visit and run to N3IBX, W3JN, K3MSB, AB3EL and maybe some others. I'm mentioning this so if you have stuff that needs transportation to three land or be picked up in down there & dragged north, please let me know. I figure this trip will build at least three more big rigs by fall and that's the name of the game. I have a bunch of guys up here in the frozen tundra that would give warm homes to any surplus BC rigs heading for Dipsy Dumpster Land. Don't let this happen! Just notify the "Brent & Keith Show" and we will arrange a similiar rescue.
Thank You
Thank You Very Much

Hi Keith,

Have fun picking up the radio goodies, and playing Santa for others during your trip.  As for you living in the frozen tundra - are you sure about that?  Remember I live in Wisconsin.  WE'RE supposed to have all of the frozen tundra.   I grew up only 35 miles from the home of the almighty Packers - the frozen tundra of Lambeau Field.  Lemme know when you're planning this, you're welcome to stay at my place.  I'm about 30 mi west of Baltimore just off I-70.  I'm eager for Brent to benefit from that heavyassed power supply in my garage Grin

BTW the Manasses, VA hamfest is the first weekend in June, on a sunday.  A fine Business fester indeed!

Looks like this will go down Friday 18th and Saturday 19th with Sunday, 20th in reserve. I'll be contacting all parties involved this week. Like I said, anybody needing to transport Iron etc. should get ahold of me. We are also looking for any salvagable transmitters with STRAP potential. I have people looking for STRAP and they promise to get the things running on AM!!! What more can we ask....

Brent and Keith,

I listen to you all the time.

When you're at Vortex Joe's, I will try to get over there (a one hour drive) for an eyeball QSO.

We will try to show up around 2:00 PM traffic allowing. Visit for a bit & pick up Plate Iron.
Leg #2, Joe's place to K3MSB Mark's place, about a 2 hour trip. Trying to show up after you get home from work Joe in order to pick up the RCA rig.
Will try to show up around 6:00 PM
Leg #3, Go on down to W3JN, John's place to load up some power supplies & crash for the night.
Thank's for the offer John.
Leg #4, Saturday, Head north to AB3EL, Mike's place & pick up the Globe King, about 1.5 hours from JN's place.
After this, take the stuff back to NH and get it all running in AM rigs.

We will definatly take that into consideration. Naturally this trip ended up on a Holiday weekend! We are holding Sunday in reserve. One way or another we will load the RCA Friday night.
I'll consult with Brent. Vortex stop may be Sat. AM. Stay Tuned.

Hitch up the mule. The last one I moved was a 5KW so yours should not be too bad. I'll bring a 2-wheeler and lots of straps & tarps.

You're not going to get from Joe's place to mine in 2 hours on a Friday afternoon during rush hour!!

I've made numerous sojourns to the Vortex during that time of the day. The traffic coming out of Philadelphia isn't too bad at rush hour. Remember you will be about 20 miles north of the city so it becomes pretty thin then.

Any locals that can be available late Friday afternoon at Marks place to help with the loading of the BC rig would be greatly appreciated. There's just me & Tina showing up to get it and he's got a bum back.
Thanks

I have a 2-wheeler and am going out later to borrow some moving blankets and a come-along. With 4 guys after you get home that should be no problem. We will shoot for late afternoon.
