Paul, they need the water.  They have had a 5 year drought and it will be good for them.

Bill will just have to get on the air and make RF

Well them 304-T's should make more than enough filament heat as well as RF heat to melt all that snow into the water tables Wink

LOL, guys, thanks for thinking of us,

I was finally able to bash though our road with the loader today and we got some fresh groceries, thanks to the XYl's Jeep.

There's walls of snow 7' high along the road. Like driving through a tunnel.

Now there's another Winter Storm Warning issued for us Thursday and Friday.

Seriously, this is getting to be a bad situation for us. Another foot or two of SN along with high winds is going to be a huge problem. We might be marooned for quite a while. It might take days to dig a path out with the tractor and loader. A guy we hired to plow the road out fgot stuck and broke his chains twice today. I'll have to live snow 8 feet deep out of the way...If I can.

I'd' be on the air, but I'm completely wasted from working outside. I need some ZZZZs.

God bless all of us.

Isn't our old friend "ap" -- Art Pightling, K3XF, out there in snowy Colorado too?  I think it's Ft. Collins.  It's probably not very nice there either.

SO I am listening right now to Jim, WA0LSB at Larkspur Colo. talking about how they've already got 14 inches of fresh snow on the ground. Says they will probably have 24 inches by noon tomorrow, then a break, then another storm's on the way.

WOW

Jim's retired but runs a 6-foot snow plow, says he's gonna be busy again.

He's coming in great on a 32V2, on 3885 with an Oklahoma station W5JO, Karl, WA2UJX in Rhinebeck, and a few others.

The scene over your way, Bill looks pretty serious. It can cause dangerous situations. Be careful and I hope you have emergency plans in place for the storms heading your way.
I hope to contact you very soon with the coast to coast gang.

Hi Bill,

Beautiful pictures!  By all means, keep your family and yourself safe and warm.  But I just want to say that those pictures are just wonderful.  We had a very mild winter last year in southeastern PA, and so far this winter it is the same.  Global warming could be at play, but who knows.  Anyway, thanks very much for the pictures.  They're reminding me of winters past, with similar beautiful landscapes!  And yes, I remember, back-breaking work on the shovel brigade...  Still, I miss it...

Thanks again Bill,
