Bear,

I talked with Irb on the phone Sat. He is staying with neighbors. They
have set him up with email. They have to read it to him because of his
eyes. Maybe you could put it on the forum. It is:

It goes thru aol.

I presume the sender did not want his identity posted since he did not post it himself...

Personally, I would disuade anyone who has something negative to say, from saying it - does that need to be said?

I can't believe anyone would want to kick a sick, old man when he's down. But I've been wrong before. Regardless of whether one agreed with what he had to say or even cared to listen to him, Irb was never a mean person in my experiences.

Here is the reply which I received back from Irb's friend after receipt of my email.
Glad to see he is getting the messages.

Dear sirs,
  Thank you for all your responses, I will read all your Emails to Irb, tomorrow at breakfast. I went to the AM web site and printed out all the Blog's. That wished him well. I read your call letters to him. He remembered each one of ya'll, and put a name behind each call name. It really lifted his spirits.
     One day soon I will ask Irb to dictate some words to ya'll.
   Irb is not doing well physically but his mind is still sharp as a tack.
