Thanks for posting these.  Have not seen these mods...will keep these in mind.
Just picked up a Drake TR4CW/RIT (noise blanker intact also!) as I steep in the world of Drake
radios this Winter. After cursory clean-up, first off, the AM filter will be plopped in....

Good luck with the TR-4. Check the T-4 mods for changing to straight screen grid modulation vice controlled-carrier. I haven't looked at the schematics of the two radio, but I'd guess the modulation scheme is very similar.
