It's called the ARRL Phone Sweepstakes yet the automated contest log checker rejects logs identified as Phone and insists on making you identify your log as ARRL-SS-SSB!

My log consisted of entirely AM contacts. Why must I identify it as an SSB log?

Here's the automated rejection slip I received from their log checker:

(This is an automatic reply.)

Thank you for your participation in the contest.

Unfortunately our robot is unable to process your Cabrillo log file as
submitted because it appears to be missing some critical information.
At this time, you do not have a valid log in the queue. Your log must
be corrected and re-submitted. If you do not re-submit, your results
can not be included in the contest results.

Below you will find a list of the problems that were encountered in
attempting to process your log, as well as a corresponding set of
remedies that may fix these problems. Please review these problems,
then update your log.  You must then re-send it to ssphone@arrl.org.
You may have to resubmit your log two or three times to get everything
just right.  Don't worry, the robot replaces the previous file as long
as the callsign remains the same.  We want to make sure that we have
your information right!

If you believe you have received this message in error or if you are
having problems creating the required log file, please contact us at
contests@arrl.org.

Thanks for your cooperation.  73.

----------

ERROR MESSAGE REPORT FROM THE ROBOT

ERROR #1: Log may not be for Phone Sweepstakes.

REMEDY #1: Please resubmit the correct log.  If the log is correct but simply
mislabeled, please change to the contest name to ARRL-SS-SSB.  Here is
an example of a valid contest name specification for Phone Swesptakes:

CONTEST: ARRL-SS-SSB

CONTEST: ARRL-SS-PHONE
Line 4 was discarded.  'ARRL-SS-PHONE' is an invalid contest.  ARRL-SS-SSB
is the only valid contest name for Phone Sweepstakes.  Perhaps this is a
  log from a different contest.
