Hello All,

For this years radio season, I was going to screen modulate a 4-1000A. Was thinking about an 813, as a modulator.

Has eneryone done this before? Is there any helpful tips that anyone can give me on construction, tuning?

Tnx,

Been there, done that, still running it. With 3450v on the plate it loafs along at "legal limit", relatively simple to build. Mine has been running for 6 or 7 years or so. In order to get it to make 100% and good audio, you have to put a little shake on the control grid biass as well.

Got any data on that one? I have a couple of 4-1000 amps here doing nothing.
