Manually trip overload relays

My two largest transmitters are equipped with two overload relays each.  One protects the final amp and the other, the modulator. The final amp one gets tripped frequently enough, but I could probably count on one hand the number of times a moduator overload has kicked out in all the years I have been using the transmitters.

Sitting there engaged for years, the mechanical linkage could conceivably (or should I say likely) stick, due to oxidation, crud accumulation on the moving parts,  or warpage of plastic parts.  It wouldn't be a bad idea to manually trip the relay and then reset it from time to time, just to make sure the mechanical assembly does indeed function properly, and to maintain the movable linkages so they will stay freed up to function in the event they are called upon to do so.
