Page 24 and page 25 of the manual gives tips and circuit info for push-to-talk operation. Also Bulletin #10 has info on PTT. AC switching is not recommended.
So is it suggested to use a low voltage DC relay?
Guess I could use a DC relay to run the Dow-Key.
Tnx - Bruce
Bruce:
Why don't you just go to the BAMA site and get the manual. It sounds like you don't have it. I didn't spend a lot of time reading the text when I looked at it. You could also use electronic T/R switching. One tube, adds a little gain for the receiver, voltage derieved from the power supply, noiseless. Ye old knife switch also works great if you're into manual.
