I second that thought.
The WX out here on the coast of Massachusetts is fine business.
Spent last week in Dallas on business. Too hot there! I did get to the grassy knoll though.
Tomorrow is a first for me. I am marching in the towns Memorial Day parade.
Some Vets in town here re-started the old defunct American Legion Post and when I wasn't looking they made me a legion post officer so I get to carry the US Navy Flag tomorrow. They even asked me to be in the rifle squad!!
I told them that I was in the Navy and that if they had a 5 inch 38 gun mount on wheels I could fire that sucker but not one of those handheld Army type rifles.
I might kill someone even though they use blanks. Might shoot my eye out!
I hope I can get my left rights, about face, eyes right, stuff right.
I have a funny feeling the column will go one way and I will merrily march off in the other. It's been a looong time. Maybe I should wear my Viking hat for effect!
The speaker is going to be Col. Hunt of the Foxnews fame. He grew up in my hometown here.

I also wish everyone a safe holiday weekend as I sit here remembering those who gave all so I CAN sit here in peace.  And I sit and give thanks to those who were able to come home.  It is these veterans who paid for what we enjoy and in too many cases take for granted.

Remember what Memorial Day is about.  It's NOT about hot dogs and sales at the mall.

QWT, to you and your bretheren, thank you.
