Good conditions on 160 meters tonight.  I worked Ian N9XG Kokomo Indiana on 1885 kHz. AM.

The broadcast band listening is good too.

can't get on 160 where i am tonight, but getting a great 30 over signal from WSM 650KC out of Nashville right now (about midnight). it's riding right over the top of my local WNBC QRM on 660, and that ain't easy.

Yup
with these cool nights the band has been usable. I had a terrible line noise Fri nite and heard some activity, maybe Tom and the N9 station. The sigs were fair, I shudda tried to break in, but it was time to get back to the family, I was tinkering a couple of hours previously.
I'll tune in tonite..Sat.

Sorry I missed you'ins! I've been getting on before 7:30PM most nights and band conditions (QRN) don't seem to be all that bad! I got on 1885 last night around 6PM and called CQ for about 45 minutes to no avail.

The AM Godz must have been asleep or didn't have their regeneration controls turned up high enough!

Fred - Let me know when you get your "Froggie 7700". I'd like to know how you like it.

Present WWV propagation indices: SFI = 72   A = 4   K = 1 .

It should be a good night on 160 meters tonight if the cratic stashes are not bad.
