Guys,
          I stunbled across this on-line copy of Radio Antenna Engineering (1952) by Edmund LaPort. Covers LF , MF and HF antennas from a '50s commercial point of view. I suspect the MF and LF parts are still relevent particualrly as far as ground systems etc.  - Anyway an interesting read

I down loaded it cool book....Mtview Ca I hung out there back in '74....met nice girl almost stayed.
