I thought the call sounded familiar so I had a look at my logs.  After the intial commotion of the W1AW Valiant/NC-303 installation, I've only ever heard it on the air once ... Interesting.
The operator was WA6MHZ.

He wrote a piece for the WRL website on Uncle Leo's 95th birthday this past 16th of March.  I was just reading that and trying to figure why the call sounded familiar.   Of course, from here, the radiopile man.
