I remember several years ago Jack was consumed in the Tesla vs. Edison debate.

Herb I wish old Jack would have spent more time explaining why there would be a disenfranchisement of AM operators under the Pettion he is opposing. Then he could wrap it up any which way he wanted. As it stands, the opening thought is incomplete, and we are left to think he's a bit of a crackpot, allowing the reader to overlook his point.

Jack Wagner, W8AHB

I am John W. Wagner, teacher...and I have a story to tell you about my successive classes of third and fourth grade students whose efforts are focused on preserving Tesla's memory in history.

Along the way, my students somehow learn to write...and enjoy their newly acquired skill. Is this not one of the grand purposes of school?

Our class hero is Nikola Tesla because he is the underdog of electrical history, yet his scientific discoveries brought us the prosperity we enjoy today.

Speaking of Tesla, the Yugoslavian people are very proud of him, being a native.  One of my friends from Belgrade, Acim, is using the special event call, "YT150T". It stands for 150 years since Tesla's birth.

Here's a DX Spot tonight on 75M:

VY2RU      3786.5 YT150T      Op Acim                       2308 08 Feb

Acim told me on the air that Tesla was the REAL inventor of radio.

I'll bet the Italians listening had a thing or two to say about that...  Grin

Use an "AM Courtesy Filter" to limit transmit audio bandwidth  +-4.5 KHz, +-6.0 KHz or +-8.0 KHz when needed.  Easily done in DSP.

I knew it's those darned liberals again !! Seriously,  what "liberals" is he referring to, the "liberals" at the FCC ?? Frankly I don't think the FCC is going to be too impressed with this. Fred Jodry's comments may carry more weight.
