I can see your Caddy in the background so must be your pad.. Looks like enough concrete for a self supporter. What are you putting up?

Use an "AM Courtesy Filter" to limit transmit audio bandwidth +-4.5 KHz, +-6.0 KHz or +-8.0 KHz when needed. Easily done in DSP.

106' US Tower crankup. Not mine. The Caddy is another one of the fleet from 1980. Just breaking it in.

I wouldn't doubt it. Hoffa Junior is no punk. He played college football and looks the part. Even if he were a punk the (4) XL dudes who travel with him would persuade one otherwise. Ask me how I know sometime.

11 yards that is one over. When I did my solar room I had 2 trucks 1 with 10 and the second one with 12. They can get busted for over 10. I noticed the tires on the heavy load were working. The concrete co guy was pissing and moaning about the big load and we dumped part of it in the hole.
Concrete is such a cool substance, but then I also like to make meat balls with my son.
Nice rebar job Dave!

I hope you scribed your initials in it. My last guy anchor the whole family pressed a foot print into the surface.

These days they cut the tower legs/ guy wires with a torch and drop it - then dynamite the base, or cover it with dirt.. The scrap yard flat bed and dump truck can take it all away the same day. Just like Arnold's self supporter 250' ers when he crapped out.. Nothin's sacred anymore. [sigh] I figger my 18' X 18' concrete pads out there will make great patios someday.. T

I think it would be cool to leave something behind after we go that is hard to destroy. Then pick something that later generations want to keep around.

How about the hanging bodies those who put us there. I think Nixon was the last guy who had a balanced budget. Do the math on our so called conservative party.
I was actually thinking in terms of stone and concrete.

Conservative, liberal, it makes no difference. They will only cut spending as much as the citizens wish. Some claim they want spending cut, until they hear what is really means, no social security, no unemployment benefits, no cheap school lunches, toll roads everywhere etc. Our generation has become so addicted to government aid, most find the prospect of none frightening. Until that attitude changes, the rest is hot air. The same attitude prevails in amateur radio. So many are terrified of less regulation (a.k.a. government big brotherism). The CCT plan calls for less and the cries of terror against it reverberate to the present. Quite sad really. I can't find a way to relate this to pouring concrete though.

Steve why can't the greatest nation in the world take care of the citizens while there is always plenty of money to conduct war to worry about a nation of people who hate us. Why is there always plenty of money to give away to other countries just to get a kick in the butt for it.
It is all about concrete. It is all about using plenty of rebar to hold it solid. A chain is only as strong as the weakest link.
I would think the population of this country has doubled in my life time so don't feed me that there isn't enough SS money coming in.
I'm glad to see Mr. Spector doing so well with th ehealth care I provided him. Someday I may need some in return.....

yea, we have blood suckers at both ends of the spectrum. The blood suckers at the higher end appear to be winning and get tax cuts as a reward. Us poor slobes in the middle get the best excuses. Oh well they can always build more jails.
I bet the government will be the last to reduce their entitlements.
our useless senator is worth about a mil a year +++ retired not bad money for a wimp.

Well Dave, I hope your concrete job is covered today. The wind is wipping and the snow is blowing around. 18 degrees last check. 30 year old snow blower didn't stall once. We have a nice crust of ice under the snow here in ct.
Steve nail me I'm not so smart. don't feel bad about it either.

It's covered with 10 layers of plastic and buried under sand now.
