George Walsh, the voice of "Gunsmoke" on radio and TV, and later, a Golden Microphone and Peabody Award winning announcer, interviewer and newscaster at KNX-AM in Los Angeles.  Prior to the job on "Gunsmoke, Walsh worked at an ABC affiliate in Roswell, NM where he broke the story about the USAF capture of a flying saucer in 1947.  The UFO later was said to be a radar target, but not before the story went worldwide.
