K1MAN EDITORIAL- ED060103A -

THE YEAR IN REVIEW - K1MAN -    3 January 2006

How do you spell stupid?  Like this:  S   T   U   P   I   D!

The FCC and ARRL goal of putting K1MAN off the air in 2005 has failed.
Oh well!   Now they have to "eat Crow" during 2006 and far beyond.

Why do they want K1MAN off the air?   Because AARA and IARN have made
them look soooooooooo stupid since 1985.   With the FCC, Riley(1)
simply wants to be named Dayton Ham of the Year as his "hero" John B.
Johnston, W3BE, was "honored" when "Johnny" was named DHOTY a few
years back.   "Johnny" was the FCC ham radio "Guru" back then and
should not have accepted, of course.   But this just goes to show what
a joke the FCC is when it comes to amateur radio.

Why not send Dave Sumner to Disneyland, dress him up as Mickey Mouse,
and let Riley have Dave's corner office at the League?   Then Riley
can mail his silly warning letters (at private sector expense) about
not using phonetics, talking about switching power supplies, and being
on 52 simplex for too long, etc.

And, oh yes, K1MAN bulletins are not OK but W1AW bulletins ARE OK,
with the poor Boy Scouts (Brian likes those boys!) firing up their
Jamboree on a published K1MAN bulletin frequency (as organized by
Brian) and wondering why the Collins KW-1 at K1MAN was sooooooo loud.

And Riley then sends K1MAN a "bill" for $21,000 for this awful event
that borders on child abuse!!!!.   And next, SATERN plopped too close
to K1MAN on 3.975 MHz. and then refused to cooperate with K1MAN who
offered to move down a bit if they would move up a bit.   No way!
SATERN (Salvation Army has paid emplyoyees!) does not move or
negotiate per FCC rules (regarding selection and most efficient use of
spectrum) for anyone.   Why should they?   K1MAN gets sent a "fine,"
instead, and his license renewal gets put into "legal limbo" while
Riley's law school refund(2) is being processed, and we all know how
long those law school refunds can take!!!!

Only in America!

I say let's go to court and make complete fools of Riley, the FCC,
AND ARRL.   I will be there with bells on!    How about you?   I will
buy lunch!

Happy New Year!   73 and GL de K1MAN.

This idiot deserves lots of jail time and all that goes with it. Or better yet, sedate him, throw him on a C-130 and 24 hours later drop him off in downtown Bagdad making sure certain "welcome commitees" are alerted concerning his arrival. Any way you look at it, this whiner's goin' down!

I'm ready to file my own lawsuit alleging discrimination. K1BOY has yet to put me on his naughty list and I feel very slighted.
