Hi Bruce,
I almost sent that link to you on its own, but figured you would see it here.
You going to be on the AWA contest? I am working in a VT-127A Hartley. I got the tube some time ago and have wanted to do something with it.
We have rented a place up by Shawnee Peak this winter and will be heading up a lot of weekends (got the family season pass). Maybe we can meet you and they YL for dinner or lunch some time

Hi OM,
Yes, plan to be on for AWA wit the Hartley.
The next four days will be 2 hours of sending/receiving CW to brush up my most rusty skills!

Trying to think what a VT-127 is...photo?

Sure, I know Shawnee Peak back in my snowboarding days, took many a spill there and most times ended with more time on my bottom than on the board!

I'd like for you to see the new place, and the ham gear at the shop sometime.
Dinner might also work, don't get to Portland often, but would make an exception once things cool down after the holidays.

The time off at Thanksgiving and Christmas vacation are always radio project days for me, this year no exception.
Have a 32V3 and very old HRO on the bench for this weeks effort.
Snowing outside, so nothing to do but play radio!

Carl - The VT-127 is the closest thing to a DeForest "H" tube I've seen. They look very much alike!

Thanks for cranking out another calendar! I used your 2005 one at work, and I'll probably do the same with the 2006 edition. I hope to run into you in the '29 QSO Party. I won't be able to make the first weekend, but will be on for the second weekend. I'll be using the replica '29 TNT I built a few years back on 80 meters, and I hope to be using an original 1920s TPTG on 40 meters that I picked up at the AWA Conference auction that came out of Ralph Williams' estate. I'll be sure to look for you!
