Where does one go about finding a nice old sytle relay rack?
The upright style, not the four rail type arrangement.

I have a old prewar HRO which needs a new home, and would like to add in a 32V to make a rack mounted station.

I'd love black crackle but that may be asking too much.

I can find tons of modern style racks, but the old buzzard relay style seem to have gone away.

Tnx - Bruce

Hey Bruce,
Hate to burst your bubble, I have one black krinkle and all  but I'm not parting with  it.  I came across it at the local dump last year and scarfed it up.  Haven't decided what I'm going to do with it yet but I'll find a use at some point.

How can I get it to you ? It's yours.
Tall but perhaps too shallow however, unless you don't mind a few inches sticking out the back.
This one takes 10-24 screws you can get at the hardware store, and is pre-drilled steel, very solid.
Looks like this:

Hi Bruce;

Are you looking for the table top version? the open type with the angled sides? A while back Newark Electronics was carrying them in black wrinkle. Allied may also have them.

Exactly what I was looking for.
I'll have to check with Newark to see if they are a current product.

Hi Paul,
Nice to catch up with you the other night on 3870!

Tnx for the rack offer, but I am looking for shorter unit.
I should have mentioned that, something about 2-3 feet tall for the desk.
