Shortly, I will become the proud owner of a Globe Scout Deluxe.   I have a  couple basic questions about this rig, and very littleinfo  is available online.

1.Are there any audio mods for this rig.  I heard Tim WA1HLR on the air and he mentioned he was using one of these rigs with mods...but he disappeared into the ether before I could get details.

2.Is there a VFO that would be a good match for the Scout? 

3. Any thoughts and opinions on the Scout Deluxe would be welcomed.
